How to use Regular Expressions
|
Example 1: Lets say you're looking through a raw transcript of something; and there are lots of things like <dy_1037>, <dy_1077>, <dy_1098>, <dy_1167> in the transcript. You can have OpenOffice (or any other software package which supports Regular Expressions) automatically select those for you, making your editing life a lot easier. To do so, enable REGULAR EXPRESSIONS checkbox in OO and type in the following <dy.*> This will result in the selection of the above, making your life a LOT easier. |
