WORLD WAR II SUBJECT COLLECTION IN AVH
LAST UPDATED: 3 JUNE 2003
BOX LABELS: Long Yellow/Yellow
(Note by Ryan Crierie: Boxes in Bold Red are ones I have personally checked out – so I can remember what I pulled a couple months from now. I have also added additional notation on the contents of each box where applicable.)
This is a working collection in the Naval Historical Center’s Aviation History Branch. The collection consists of both primary and secondary source material collected by the branch from a variety of sources, and is filed in alphabetical/chronological order within each subject. While primarily covering World War II, 1939–45, it also includes material both preceding and following the conflict. In total, the collection comprises 68 acid-free boxes of approximately 36 linear feet. For additional identification, the boxes are also marked by the double yellow color code.
